I'm so pleased. Finished the left hand of "Fetching". Shows I can knit in the round. There are no gaps or ladders...so yes I'm chuffed. Moving on to the right hand glove now.

I've been plagued with gaps similar to the ones you describe whenever I used dpns. I switched over to the magic loop, which solves some of the gap issues, but not all of them. I'm curious what changes you've made to your dpn technique to get rid of the gaps.

I'm not sure I changed my techinique that much - really it was a case of pulling the yarn tighter on the 1st 2 stitches on every needle.
Those are nice. I made my first fingerless mittens a few days ago. I can't believe how easy they are to knit.
